Hi Lydia, I found a little bit on this website. https://archive.org/stream/cu31924084199763/cu31924084199763_djvu.txt If you do control F and search for Sura and keep clicking on "next", you'll find it. I am sorry that it is not very pretty, but on the basis that anything is better than nothing, I thought it might help... I also found this http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-appeal-court-reports-1903-1907-ceylon-high-court-of-appeal/1027276457?ean=2940028817496 but apparently it is only available in the United States, which doesn't help either of us very much. There are also paid for versions available. They might also exist on other platforms, but I would have preferred to check that it is actually there from a freebie version first. Apart from that there is also http://www.amazon.com/The-appeal-court-reports-1903-1907/dp/1176516582 which might be in a university library somewhere. Hope it helps. I have fond memories of holidays in Sri Lanka, so am always interested in anything that comes up which relates to the island. Best wishes, Hazel :) Ps With any luck, someone else will have a pristine copy that they will be able to send you. Fingers crossed! :) Hazel Bird | Information Specialist Chadbourne & Parke (London) LLP Regis House, 45 King William Street London. I've been asked to get a copy of the following case: Sura Vs. Fernando (1 ACR 95) It is referred to in another Sri Lankan case Hewa Alankarage Rosalin Hami v E. Hewage Hami, which I found at http://www.supremecourt.lk/images/documents/SC_Appeal.15.2008FINALon03.12.2010.pdf It seems no library in South Africa has this case series, which I suspect is the Appeal Court Cases (Sri Lanka) as per the Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations, based on the referral I found in the Sri Lankan case on the Internet. Cardiff gives these options: Preferred Abbreviation Alternate Abbreviations Title Jurisdiction ACR Australian Contract Law Reporter<http://www.legalabbrevs.cardiff.ac.uk/abbreviations/atview/id/6435/asearch/ACR/atype/Exact> Australia - A.C.R. If anyone can help with a copy of this case, I'd be most grateful. Many thanks in advance for any assistance given.
