Dear Int-Law Subscribers,

Welcome back. I hope everyone had a restful weekend. The list has been
re-opened for posting.

During the shut down period I cleaned up the welcome message that people
receive upon subscribing to Int-Law. As a reminder, here are the first two
paragraphs of that message:

Int-Law exists for the online discussion and the sharing of information
about/on foreign, comparative and international (fci) legal resources. It
is also meant to deal with topics and issues pertaining to fci law
librarianship. While librarians probably comprise the bulk of the
membership, it is not limited to them; certainly researchers and others
interested in fci legal sources are welcome. While reference-sounding
questions predominate, other librarianship aspects (acquisitions, collection
development, cataloging, etc.) are within the scope of the list.

Among those messages that Int-Law can not host are ads, trivia, personal and
rather very limited interest exchanges, chain letters, long messages, spams,
and ideological and political debates. Sending attachments with your mail
is not allowed. If in doubt, please check with
[log in to unmask] before posting on Int-Law. Posting
inappropriate messages can annoy/irritate some subscribers and sap the
resources of the list and may result in the removal of the poster from the list.

The footer to all messages has also been updated to clarify the proper
addresses to use for 1.) posting to the list and 2.) unsubscribing to the
list. The URL for the Int-Law archive has been added to the footer.

Thank you all for your patience.
